This is an accurate depiction of how the promotion system works in the real world of business, and as everyone can see it is completely fair and equitable. This woman was surly and uncooperative at the onset and is unworthy of promotion. I would dismiss her and send her home with a note to her husband that her poor attitude will adversely impact his career.
